Photo Album: Academic Promise Scholarship Reception 2007On Thursday, May 31st, 2007, 165 graduating high school students were awarded the Academic Promise Scholarship. An event was held in their honor at the Community College of Rhode Island's Knight Campus where William H. Hurry, Jr., the Executive Director of the Rhode Island Higher Education Assistance Authority, presented each student with a certificate of appreciation to go along with a scholarship ranging from $2,500 per year for four years up to a total of $10,000. The Rhode Island Higher Education Assistance Authority would like to extend our congratulations and wish all recipients the best throughout their future endeavors.
