Resources for High School Guidance Counselors

The Rhode Island Higher Education Assistance Authority (RIHEAA), together with the Rhode Island Student Loan Authority (RISLA), sponsor an annual Guidance Counselor Seminar for counselors in all Rhode Island high schools. The seminar reviews all programs administered by RIHEAA and RISLA, updates counselors on federal financial aid programs and invites appropriate professionals to speak on various topics of interest to the counselors.

RIHEAA also publishes and supplies the Financial Aid Handbook to Rhode Island high schools for distribution to all seniors.
